We have recently renewed our subscription to Scan which, according to their site, ‘is a leading refereed journal that focuses on the interaction between information in a digital age and effective student learning.’ Although the periodical has a heavy focus on libraries, it is also relevant to K to 12 teachers and provides articles about:
- quality learning and connected curriculum
- teaching ideas for digital age literacies
- inquiry learning and evidence based practice
- multimodal resources for exciting learning
- research and emerging trends
- extensive eresource, website and other reviews
- dynamic school libraries
This publication may also be of particular interest to teachers involved in action research. The journal is published quarterly and if you are interested in accessing this journal, please email me and I will provide you with login details.
